Consultation Descriptions

At Cancer Treatment Centers of America, we believe in an integrative approach for the whole-person during their cancer treatment. That is why we offer telephone and in-person nutrition counseling services through Cancer Resource Center.

Our nutritionists have specialized training in complementary nutritional therapies and cancer care and can design individualized diet and supplement programs tailored to your unique health goals.

During cancer treatment, eating well (consuming the nutrients you need to maintain your health and optimize your immune system) can become a challenge, especially if you experience side-effects or simply don't feel well. As a result, your energy level may drop, your immune system may be impaired and you might not be able to complete your treatment. And if you're among the estimated 70% of cancer patients who take dietary supplements, how can you be sure that what you are taking is safe and effective?

Take action now to give yourself the best chances for optimal cancer recovery! Our nutrition counseling sessions provide quality care for you through professional assessment, practical suggestions and science-based recommendations. Eating well and supplementing your diet during cancer treatment and recovery may:

  • Promote strength and energy
  • Prevent loss of lean muscle
  • Optimize your weight
  • Promote healthy organ function
  • Lessen treatment-induced side effects
  • Potentially enhance cancer treatment
  • Support the body's natural healing potential

Cancer Resource Center has a number of counseling options available to fit virtually every budget and interest level.
